Community Garden

We cannot express how fortunate we are to have the backing of Cardwell farms Thank you all involved. It is hugely appreciated by all our staff, volunteers and clients who garden in the gardens. Last year under poorer conditions we grew3,500kg of vegetables to pass on to our clients. This year we had a late start – building the beds from nothing, but we hope to catch up by October!! And we have many more clients now -from1200 families per month to 1441 families in May 2022 I’ll be talking to you in a day or two to order another 50 tonnes for ourselves at the farm. It is making the world of difference here too. Very best, Alison
